アメリカンジョーク<新しい秘書>

Mr. Johnson got himself a new secretary. She was young, sweet, and very polite.

ジョンソン氏は新しい秘書を雇った。彼女は若くてかわいくて、そして大変礼儀正しかった。

One day while taking dictation, she noticed his fly was open. When leaving the room, she said, "Mr. Johnson, your barracks door is open."

ある日書き取りをしていた時に彼女は彼のハエが開いているのに気がついた。部屋を出る時に彼女は「ジョンソンさん、あなたのバラックドアが開いています」と言った。

He did not understand her remark, but later on he happened to look down and saw that his zipper was open.

彼は彼女が指摘したことが何だかわからなかったが、たまたま後で下を見てジッパーが開いているのに気がついた。

He decided to have some fun with his secretary.

彼は秘書とちょっと楽しもうと決めた。

Calling her in, he asked, "By the way Miss Jones, when you saw my barracks door was open this morning, did you also notice a soldier standing at attention?"

秘書を呼んで聞いた。「ところでジョーンズさん、あなたは今朝私のバラックドアが開いているのを見たとき、兵士が気を付けの姿勢で立っているのにも気がつきましたか？」

The secretary, who was quite witty replied, "Why no sir, all I saw was a little disabled veteran sitting on two duffel bags."

ウィットに富んだ秘書は「どうしてですか？私は小さな身障者の退役軍人が2つのダッフルバッグの上に座っているのしか見ませんでしたよ」と答えた。
